MyOPIA
A journey through filtered light and unspoken distance
In the quiet rain of late November in Brussels, a lens technician begins noticing patterns of shadow that alter her perception of memory.
Set against the brutalist architecture and mist-shrouded avenues of Brussels, MyOPIA explores visual intimacy and isolation. When Clara, a master lens grinder, comes across an unlabelled optic prescription from 1974, she embarks on a silent nocturnal search across the city, questioning whether we truly observe the world or merely project our own longings onto it.

“MyOPIA was born from a desire to strip narrative down to gaze and cadence. We wanted the camera to feel like an eye adjusting to darkness, attuned to physical texture, glass reflections, and the weight of silence. Film is first and foremost a tactile medium, and with MyOPIA we sought to create an experience where sound and light operate as equal storytellers.”
